Whistleblower awarded Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling

The Fertel Foundation and the Nation Institute recently recognized a federal whistleblower by awarding the employee the Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling.  The groups said that the whistleblower, Thomas Drake, “exposed the ethical, budgetary and acquisition shortcomings at the NSA.”  The award has a 10,000 stipend. Appeals court upholds whistleblower secrecy
